Welcome to the Elder Friendly Design Resource Collaboration Centre! 

 

This collaborative space is an initiative of the Committee For Enhancement of Elder Friendly Environments (CEEFE), a subgroup of the Regional Geriatric Program central (RGPc) in partnership with the Seniors Health Research Transfer Network (SHRTN).

 

About This Site

 

  • Purpose: to assist stakeholders to design, build and retrofit environments that facilitate the global functional abilities of older persons in a variety of care settings.1

  

  • Content:  a compilation of resources intended to enable evidence-informed recommendations, however does not represent a meta-analysis of evidence related to elder friendly design.

 

  • Access: anyone can view pages and download resources.  As a collaborative space, we encourage site visitors to get involved.  To learn how, click here.
